Toggleable on-page menu for header navigation

It would be great to have a toggle option to show or hide a menu that lists all headers within a page, similar to Wikipedia’s table of contents. Clicking a header in the menu would jump to that section of the page. Or a feature with similar purpouse.

This would make navigating long or structured pages much easier, especially for pages with multiple sections like project plans, notes, or documentation.
