Reminders for Unscheduled Tasks with Upcoming Deadlines

Currently, reminders seem to work mainly for tasks that are scheduled at a specific time, or that is the idea. However, it would be really useful to have reminders for tasks that have a deadline but haven’t been scheduled yet.

For example:

• If a task is due in 3 days and it hasn't been scheduled or assigned a time block, a reminder could notify the user that the deadline is approaching and action is needed.

• This could help prevent tasks from being forgotten simply because they weren’t added to the calendar.

It would be especially helpful for people who manage many deadline-driven tasks but don’t necessarily assign a specific time to all of them right away.
