As a user who organizes notes in complex hierarchies, I want to apply and save unique sorting preferences for each folder and parent note, so that I can maintain a logical and predictable order for my content, which is especially critical for efficient navigation on mobile devices.
Acceptance Criteria:
Given I am viewing the contents of a folder, when I choose a sort order (e.g., by title, date created, date modified, custom), then that specific sort preference is applied and saved only for that folder.
Given I am viewing a parent note with sub-notes, when I choose a sort order, then that preference is applied and saved for the sub-notes under that specific parent note.
Given I have set a sort order for a folder or a set of sub-notes, when I end my session or switch to another device, then my chosen sort preferences are retained and automatically applied upon my return.
Given I have a table within a note that contains embedded sub-notes, when I sort the table by a specific column, then the order of those same sub-notes in the main navigation panel is updated to mirror the table's new sort order.
Given the importance of efficient navigation on smaller screens, when I access a folder or parent note on a mobile device, then the content is presented in my pre-defined sort order, minimizing the need for searching and scrolling.
