Multi-Day Duration Task View in Calendar

Have tasks that span multiple days without set times (using the “All Day” checkbox + duration) viewable in the All Day summary for each day it is scheduled for.

Currently, Google Calendar multi-day events are viewable in the All Day section of the Calendar view for each day included in the calendar event, but ByDesign tasks that are set to “All Day” with a duration longer than 24 hours do not show up anywhere but the date selected for the task. The benefit of having a multi-day task versus a multi-day event is that the task, when completed, can be filtered out or viewed on the calendar page as completed, whereas events that are “completed early” have to have the date modified to reflect the change in the calendar.

The use case: Meta Tasks as Projects
I can have a note detailing a project my team is working on, using a meta task as the big project calendar block and breaking down the timeline into sub-task blocks. Having the meta task viewable on the calendar lets me know which projects my team would be working on in any calendar week without having to switch to outside software to manage project timelines.

If my team can only handle 3-5 projects at a time, I can quickly see if we’re about to overbook any given week through the calendar view. While I can technically make this happen through Google Calendar events, if we complete a project early, there is more work involved to show that the calendar has freed up.
