Make it easier to add tags on task creation

I think tags should, in general, get more attention that it’s currently getting (including adding/listing/viewing tags), but I see that there is another post about easier viewing of tags, so I’ll focus the topic of this feature request to adding the tags to the task.

When we create a task, I don’t see an easy way of adding tags in neither the desktop (mac) version nor the iOS version.

• in MacOS, we need to press “edit task”, go all the way down to “tags” section

• in iOS, the first popup of task creation doesn’t give you the option to add any tags. only when you press “edit task”, it gives you the option to add the tags (again, at the very bottom).

I would like to categorize the tasks into tags (so that I know what task belongs to what aspect of my life… for example, “health”, “hobbies”, “chores”, etc.), and being able to put tags in a very easy way is essential.

• In MacOS, we have a lot of space next to “start timer” “add duration” button next to the task. can we maybe display the tag there, and click them to add any tags needed?

• in iOS, maybe add an option in the first “add task” popup to add any necessary tags?
