Linking Notes to Time Periods in the Calendar

Hey team,

I have an idea for a new feature that I think would be super helpful for planning things in advance. It’s all about connecting our notes to a specific time of year in a really simple way.

The Idea

Let users link a note to a specific month or a date range, and then have that note automatically show up in the calendar view for that period.

The Problem I Have Today

Right now, I have lots of ideas for the future, but no great place to put them. For example, I have a note that says: "Plant tulip bulbs in September so the garden looks amazing in spring."

Today, I have to set a separate reminder on my phone for September, or write it on a paper calendar. I often forget to do it, and then I miss my chance. My note with the idea is lost in my notes list, and my calendar doesn't know about my plan.

More Ways I'd Use This:

"Start looking for Christmas flight deals" -> I’d link this note to October.

"My car's annual service is due around this time" -> I’d link this to March.

"Plan Sarah's birthday party" -> I'd link this to the first two weeks of June.

Why It's a Great Idea

This feature would make planning feel less stressful and more natural. It connects our ideas (the "what") with our timeline (the "when") in one easy step. It would make the app not just a place for my notes, but a real tool for planning my life.
