Ability to Create a Custom Task/Event

Feature Request

You know the usual drop down where we can change from task to habit/event?

It’d be awesome if we can create a “custom” event/task. We can set our own default Reminders, Priority, Calendar it should be assigned to, etc. Would make scheduling things like meetings, phone calls, and recurring types of events/tasks etc. so much easier!

    Thanks for adding this! @Brans So if I understand right this would essentially help visualize and differentiate with other events/ tasks?

      Ah, if that’s the case, I might have misunderstood the idea. I was thinking of it more as a “saved attributes” feature, where you could save a set of attributes for an event or task and quickly reuse them later.

      For example, I could save a preset that places a task in the Personal page, with the “To Do” tag, High priority, and any other relevant details. Then, when creating a new task, I could just type something like in the quick add or in the menu as Brans has shown:
      “Do shopping AS [preset name]”


      …and all those saved attributes would be applied automatically.

      Would make repetitive task creation a lot faster!

      If the request is not this one, I will be creating another one for this :P
